Hey, I'm Claire.

I like making sense of things and I heard writing makes you better at that.

I’ll probably write about my experience at a Series A startup, what I’ve learned + how I’m learning, and the social dynamics I find interesting/incomprehensible as I navigate my twenties.

More about my work

Currently:

I run instructor acquisition for an edtech startup. We're helping experts share their knowledge in a highly-engaging, scalable way – read more about us here

Previously:

I taught middle school math at Summit Public Schools in the Bay Area. While I was at Summit, I started and coached the competition math team.

Prior to that, I was a founding employee at Kairos Academies, an innovative charter school focused on personalized learning in St. Louis, MO.

I've also done short stints at Outlier.org, Amazon, and the New York Times.

More about me

Currently:

I run and complain about New York rent.

I like: reading fiction, the color green, niche history jokes, and the right ratio of earnestness to irony. I dislike: moral absolutism and my current screen time.

Previously:

I spent time in 26 cities between March 2023 and August 2024. Before that I lived in SF, St. Louis, and New Jersey.

Stay up-to-date
